From the Parliament House Annexe to 800-bed hospitals, national institutes and Commonwealth Games venues — architecture, engineering and BIM under one roof, at the scale where design meets delivery.
01 The Practice
Founded in 1980, BBVATS works at the scale where architecture becomes infrastructure — national institutes and universities, hospitals of up to 800 beds, court complexes, headquarters, stadia and settlements of thousands of homes. We carry every project from master plan to handover on a single coordinated BIM model, integrating architecture, structural and MEPF engineering, and EPC delivery under one roof — so design intent survives all the way to site.
Clients
— and other prestigious institutions. From CPWD, ministries and national institutes to public-sector undertakings and private enterprise, since 1980.
03 Ethos
A great public building is used for a hundred years by people who never chose it. We design for that permanence — for durability, dignity, and the decades of maintenance that begin the day we hand over the keys.
04 Expertise
Institutional, judicial, healthcare, sports and socio-cultural buildings designed for permanence.
Architecture, structure and MEPF resolved together in one coordinated model — LOD 100 to 500, clash-detected and issued as construction-grade documentation. The same BIM capability we run for our own projects, we run for architecture and engineering firms internationally.
Masterplans for campuses of hundreds of acres and mass-housing settlements of thousands of units.
05 The Partners
The practice was founded by Ar. J. M. Benjamin — Chief Architect of the CPWD and the architect of the Parliament House Annexe in New Delhi — and is led today by Ar. R. K. Vats, with four decades of delivery across India’s institutions, and Ar. Harsh Vats, who has built the studio’s modern BIM practice: a single-model workflow that now underpins every project.
